Reflexology is based on the premise that there are reflexes on our feet, hands and ears that correspond to a particular body part, gland or organ in the body. By applying specific thumb and finger techniques, it sends a message to your brain to send blood, oxygen and nutrients to these areas while relaxing the body allowing the body to heal itself unencumbered by stress.

A reflexology session generally lasts an hour and is a clothed session with only the removal of your shoes and socks. I also offer hand reflexology and work on your hands and forearms during the session. A zero gravity chair is used during my session. You may experience some tenderness in an area usually indicating a stress cue which can require some extra attention. A session should not be painful and you should feel relaxed afterwards. A reflexologist cannot prescribe or diagnose and is meant to be a complement to a person's overall healthcare and should not replace medical attention if necessary.
